Johanna M. Bolton writes science fiction, mystery, and fantasy novels. She has also written textbooks including material for the GED books published by Barron’s Educational Series, Inc. Other publications include fanzines, essays, and editorials and features for newspapers.
Bolton studied fine art, music, biology, history, tai chi/qi gong, karate; and taught classes in pre-school, high school, & college. All of this, she says is because her father once told her not to tell him what she was going to do, but to show him what she had done.
Retired from teaching, but not from life, she now lives in the woods with dogs, horses, and a lot of fish. For fun, she plays Celtic fiddle, and Old Time music, the mountain dulcimer, and the bowed psaltery.
